Booking & Payment Policy

In rare situations where a passenger’s behavior seriously disrupts the safety or comfort of the group, the guide reserves the right to remove that passenger from the service without refund

Cancellation & Changes of your ticket:

*NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel one day before the tour before 5:00 pm (Peru time), a 10% administration fee will apply. After this time, there’s a 100% no-show & cancelation fee.

Luggage Policy

To ensure a comfortable journey for all passengers, WaykiBus allows travelers to bring one main piece of luggage and one small personal item on board.

Main Luggage (stored in the luggage compartment):

  • 1 suitcase or backpack per passenger
  • Maximum recommended weight: 23 kg (50 lbs)

Personal Item (inside the bus):

  • Small backpack, purse, or day bag
  • Must fit under the seat or in the overhead space

Passengers are responsible for keeping valuable items such as passports, money, electronics, and important documents in their personal bags at all times.

WaykiBus cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.

If you are traveling with oversized luggage or special equipment, please contact our team in advance so we can assist you.

Lost & Found Policy

Before arriving at each destination, our team reminds passengers to check their seats and personal belongings.

WaykiBus cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during the trip.

If any belongings are found by our team, they will be stored in our Lost & Found department for up to 30 days.

After this period, unclaimed items may be donated to local communities in Cusco as part of our social responsibility program.

Passenger Responsibility & Bus Care

At WaykiBus, we kindly ask all passengers to respect and properly use the facilities of our vehicles so everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable journey.

Any damage caused to the bus by a passenger — including seats, windows, curtains, seat belts, or other equipment — must be covered by the traveler responsible for the damage, including the cost of repair or replacement.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain our buses in excellent condition for all travelers.

Passenger Conduct Policy

WaykiBus aims to provide a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone on board. For this reason, we ask all passengers to follow basic rules of conduct during the trip.

WaykiBus reserves the right to cancel a passenger’s ticket or remove them from the service without refund if any of the following situations occur:

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior that affects other passengers
  • Smoking inside the bus
  • Sexual harassment toward any passenger or staff member
  • Consumption or possession of illegal drugs or narcotics
  • Any illegal activity that threatens the health, safety, or well-being of the group
  • Causing damage to the bus or to the belongings of other travelers

Regarding alcohol consumption, this may be permitted only with the prior agreement of the group and guide, provided it does not disturb other passengers or compromise safety.

Our goal is simply to ensure that everyone on board enjoys a comfortable and respectful travel experience.

Refund Processing Policy

Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed exclusively through the original booking platform or via PayPal.

Clients acknowledge that third-party platforms (including payment gateways and booking systems) may apply their own transaction or processing fees. WaykiBus is not responsible for, nor does it assume, any additional charges, currency exchange differences, or transaction fees imposed by such platforms.

Additionally, all approved refunds are subject to a 22% administrative and tax processing fee, which will be deducted from the refundable amount.

Please note that once a refund is approved, it will be processed within a period of up to 7 business days.

By confirming a reservation, the client expressly acknowledges and accepts these conditions, including any applicable deductions and processing times.

Legal Responsibility for Illegal Substances

Passengers are strictly prohibited from carrying or transporting illegal drugs or narcotics on any WaykiBus service.

If law enforcement authorities discover illegal substances in a passenger’s personal belongings, luggage, or bags, the traveler will be solely responsible for any legal consequences.

WaykiBus will not assume any responsibility or liability in such situations. Travelers must comply with all local laws and regulations in Peru.

WaykiBus strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before their trip.
