This tour combines a trip by bus, a walk to the town of Aguas Calientes or also called Machupicchu town and a guided tour to the citadel.

Shared tour: Please note, that you may meet many people from other groups who booked the same tour activity with us and coincided with you on the same departure day and join us.
Meals included: 1 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner. Including vegetarian and vegan options – just let us know in advance.
Accommodation: SOLO travelers joining group trips are paired in twin or in a group in a multi-share dorm in a hostel / hotel with someone of the same sex for the duration of the activity.

Our bus will pick you up at your hostel between 06:00am – 06:30am. We ask you to be ready to leave between these times, we can arrive at any time. After having picked up all our travelers we will head to the sacred valley of the Inkas, we will cross this beautiful valley where we will be able to enjoy a breathtaking landscape.
Arriving at Santa Teresa we will take a break and enjoy a typical lunch, then we will continue by bus to the Hydroelectric; from where we will begin our walk along the train track, for an average of 3 hours to reach the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival to the town of Aguas Calientes, we will go to our lodge where we will rest until our group dinner.
You can choose to go to the hot springs and enjoy a relaxing bath while it is time for dinner. A few pisco sours are waiting for us, of course if that’s your thing.
Finally the big day arrived, the ascent to the famous citadel. Early in the morning we will get up to have a good breakfast and recharge ourselves and then start our walk at 4.30am towards the archeological complex, once in Machu Picchu our guide will start a guided tour for two hours, you will see the Main Plaza , the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, etc., after the tour, you will have free time to explore, take pictures or just walk through the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
After having enjoyed the magic of Machu Picchu we will return to Aguas Calientes around 11.30am, where we will begin our return on foot to the Hydroelectric (approximately 3hrs), where our bus waits for us. Once we have arrived at the hydroelectric power station, we will start our return trip by bus to Cusco, we will be arriving by 9:00pm approx.

Changes & Cancellations Policy
*NO SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel 1 day prior to the tour before 5:00 pm (Peru time), a 50% administration fee will apply. The reason is because reservations for Machu Picchu and trains are paid in advances so their regulations are very extrict and dont offer any changes or refunds. After the time mentioned, there’s a 100% no-show & cancelation fee.
*CHANGES: Any changes to the tour date MUST be done before 5:00 pm (Peru time) 1 day prior to the tour.
